35 Also the Amorites persisted in dwelling in Mount Heres, in Aijalon and in Shaalbim, but when the hand of the house of Joseph prevailed, they became forced labor for them. 36 So the territory of the Amorites ran from the Ascent of Akrabbim[a] from the Rock and upward.
